Nooo! No sooner do I leave San Diego than I hear about a speciality only available there! Take a layer of fries, cover in strips of meat (mostly beef), add cheese, guacamole and sour cream. Die young.
I think I'll have to make this at home to make up for the disappointment.
Ahhh....carne asada fries! Whenever someones asks that "if you were stranded on an island" question, I eagerly respond with "Carne Asada fried, no doubt!"
