So the new Michelin for London is out and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon goes up to 2 stars. Yay!
I've eaten there again since my review and I must say it's pretty firmly at the top of my London-list now.
There were no new three-Michelin-starred places in the new guide (and I've yet to eat at any!) but I was delighted to see Auberge du Lac in Welwyn pick up a star again. I had the pleasure of eating there for my birthday and not only was the food brilliant it was excellent value too, at just £30 for three courses with two glasses of wine per person.
I did eat in one more 1 star place recently: Restaurant Charlie in Las Vegas.
So the new total:
UK: L’Escargot (now lost it), Northcote Manor, Nobu, Adlard’s, The Elephant, Orestone Manor (now lost it), Juniper (now lost it), L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Auberge du Lac
USA: Aqua, Michael Mina, Manresa, Fleur De Lys, La Folie, Boulevard, Mix, Mesa Grill, Restaurant Charlie
