Not food related, but something I need to post.
JG Ballard, the greatest post-war British author, died yesterday.
As a kid who grew up on Sci-Fi I found, through Ballard's work, a path to a broader world of imagination and a vibrant, liminal culture of words, music and images which explored the edges of our minds and physical spaces.
Ballard is the only author who's work never disappointed. Good bye Jim.
