La Folie, SF

Three amuses including a stunning foie gras ravioli; terrine of sweetbread, lobster and pigs foot; halibut with bouillabaisse sauce; La boeuf with truffle shavings; pre-dessert yoghurt with caviar fruits; baked Alaska on an Earl gray poundcake base. Half bottle of a nice Sancerre. Still my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. They treated Tegel like the star he is: after allhis image has been used to illustrate La Folie on a consumer review site.
