It was coincidence that Julie and I ate here on Burns night but we went for the excellent value (£55) special menu none the less and were treated to an amuse, haggis, smokies, beef Wellington, cranachan and cheese. Plus whiskey, coffee, truffles and fudge! Oh my.

I was ecstatic to find delicious montgomery cheddar on the board and the service was lovely - a real touch of friendliness. However it was the quality of food at the reasonable price that most impressed. I've had food less well judged and executed in places holding a star. I've been impressed with Redcoats before but this time I was bowled over. Must get back there soon.
