Santouka Ramen, San Jose USA

Apparently there is better ramen to be had in silicon valley and if that's the case I'd better hunt it out because the product at Santouka is very good. It's not the best I've had in the US but it is as good or better than a number of places I've eaten in Tokyo and that's as much as one can ask for. I had set 51 - regular pork with salt broth and green onion rice bowl and flavored (tea) egg. Water is free from a dispenser. I was first in a line that grew to about a dozen by opening time (11:00) but by the time I was done eating the line had extended outside the tensile barrier. Even so service was fast and friendly. Recommended.
