There's a wide range of foods from the usual suspects (Vietnam, China, Thailand, Korea) as well as the ones you're less likely to find in mainstream stores (Singapore, Burma, Philippines).
I went for noodles, specifically Japanese brands Nissin (the baseline of ramen) and Mentaku (their salt ramen is delicious - I once brought some back from Japan in my suitcase); though I also picked up Korean Nongshim Shin Ramyun (sold via Singapore in this instance, these super hot noodles used to be available in supermarkets quite widely in the area but seem to have receded and become harder to seek out lately) and Hong Kong's Doll noodles (in HK all noodles, no matter what brand are referred to as Doll so ubiquitous and beloved is the range there).
Check out my haul below.
