I'm the pieman

So Kate invited friends round for dinner on Saturday and, still on a pie-high I had a second go at the steak pie. Overall pretty successful, but not quite as good since I couldn't get to the butcher and ended up getting an (organic) piece from M&S. It was ok, and the pastry turned out well. For Kate I made a fish-pie receipe from Gordon Ramsay Makes It Easy. Honestly, I could have made that for all four of us, since my little tasting of it suggested it was (he says modestly) delicious. Starter was just a plate of 4 diff. smoked fishes with sliced lettuce heart. For dessert I covered rasberries with a topping made from greek yoghurt, sweet condensed milk, and orange rind and let it set in the fridge. Not really sure what I'd call it. Grated some Chocolate Club plain choc on the top to serve. Nice.
