A tale of three chocolate mousses

So it doesn't often happen that you eat the same thing three times in three days - I'd never choose to anyway.

However last week that's just what happened.

The first Choc Mousse (henceforth, CM) I picked as desert at dinner. Light and airey it was also packed with chocolate taste, and slightly bitter. While sugar was undoubtedly present it was a fully integrated taste.

The second was the desert put on by our caterers (though there was a choice of main meals, there was only one desert). It was a big fun CM with sprinkles of white chocolate on top and not bad by any means, though it had a lot of sugar in it. The chocolate taste was decent - rich and on a par with the sugar taste.

The last was on the plane on the way home (BA). Belgian chocolate mousse (less than 10% fat) it proclaimed. Now lately, thanks to Kristof, I've been enjoying quite a bit of Leonidas Belgian chocolates and with that as the benchmark god knows what made this "Belgian". It certainly wasn't made there. I think it's just branding. It didn't taste of sugar, but nor did it taste of chocolate much. I opened the pot, then it was gone. No register or impact.
