
There's no messing about at this place. During the short queue outside they take your order and you are served shortly after taking your seat in the cramped interior which is hot and humid with the fumes of cooking broth and noodles. I opted for Shio BBQ ramen, medium strength with half fat half lean pork. In a week of excellent food this dish was far and away my favorite. Glorious!
In the interests of a fair review I also tried the miso and soy broths. I discovered that you probably can't go wrong at this place. Mike tells me the gyoza were good too - though he did go for the oddly inauthentic addition of Louisiana hot sauce! This place has been at the top of it's game for over 10 years - give it a try.
