Happy birthday to Kristof! And happy Kristof's birthday to the rest of us too, because my favourite Belgian has returned from the USA with cookies from non-other than Extraordinary Desserts (see below). The selection includes Cherry Choc Chip, Penut Butter Carob, Valrhona Triple Choc, Fruited Oatmeal, White Choc Granola, Mocha Macadamia. They are soo pretty, like a bag of little kittens...I went for Dark Choc Tea with Organic Pecans to try first- thick, crumbly, soft biscuit with crunchy nuts throughout. Very nice, but trounced by my second taster: a chocolate cookie with strips of candied orange peel on top.
